Historic Poquatuck Hall in Orient, NY has been a vibrant community gathering place for over 150 years. Its volunteer board and friends manage and maintain the Hall along with many of Orient’s monuments.  Poquatuck Hall, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) organization, funded by memberships and your generous, tax-deductible donations.

AUGUST EVENTS

Stephen Blier in concert, reunited with baritone Theo Hoffman. Music by Sondheim, Schubert, Springsteen, Gershwin, the Beatles and more. Sunday, August 2. 3:00 PM. $25 (plus fees) . Purchase tickets online and at the door.

Orient’s Got Talent. Childrens’ performances. Sunday August 9. 11:00-1:00. Donations requested to benefit Poquatuck Hall.

Songwriters in the Round: Join Meg Lui, Keenan O'Meara, and Tamsin Wilson (of Wilsen) for an intimate evening of songs and stories. In the tradition of a songwriter's round, the three artists will take turns sharing original music, the inspiration behind their songs, and the creative conversations that shape them. Expect rich harmonies, thoughtful storytelling, and a chance to experience these songwriters in a stripped-back, collaborative setting. Friday August 21. 7:00 PM. Doors open at 6:30. $15 donation suggested at door.

PoquaTALKS Presents a guest artist lecture with Marty Beller — Twists, Turns and Breakthroughs. The Grammy Award® winning drummer for THEY MIGHT BE GIANTS shares the work of his recording, touring, and composing career. Saturday August 29, 5 PM. Admission is free. SEPTEMBER EVENTS

Oysters and Sparkling fundraiser for Poquatuck Hall. Saturday October 10, 6 PM. Ticket information to come.
